Food box

School is out and the need for food for families will increase.  If you would like to contribute to the outside food box, feel free to place it in the box or in the cupboard in the narthex of the church. Thank you for the contributions.

Help Wanted: Coffee Fellowship Hosts

Through the summer fellowship will continue to be held in the fellowship room.  Please join us. We are looking for individuals to serve and/or provide food.
The Maloney family will be serving breakfast following church service on June 14th.

feast at first needs you

We're gearing up for the Feast at First Food Stand at the Delaware County Fair on July 13-19th! We need assistance in several areas including Pie Bakers, Food Stand Volunteers, and Church Kitchen Workers. Sign-Up Sheets have been placed in the Narthex. Please take the time to sign-up. Many hands make light work!

vacation bible school: God Rocks!

Dates: July 20–22, 2026
Ages: 3-years-old through 6th grade
Schedule: 5:00 PM Meal | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM VBS
Get ready for an epic three-day adventure at First Evangelical Lutheran Church! Through high-energy music, desert canyon exploration, and interactive lessons, kids will discover how God is our firm foundation and strength.

heaven bound can drive

Heaven Bound is having a Can Drive on June 28th. If you have cans you would like to donate, please contact a Heaven Bound Youth to arrange pick up. Proceeds will go toward their Mission Trip in July.

Ecumenical Church Service

The Delaware County Fair will be hosting an Ecumenical Sunday Worship Service on July 19th . The morning will begin with a praise and worship band at 9:30 a.m., followed by a special service where local pastors will share the Scripture readings and message together.
In addition, choir practices will be held on June 30 and July 9 at 5:30 at Manchester Methodist church. Participants are welcome to attend one or both practices.
We have also included a special link offering reduced admission for your church members. This ticket will be valid Sunday morning if used prior to 11:00 a.m. and will allow attendees to enjoy the entire day at the fair.
