School is out and the need for food for families will increase.  If you would like to contribute to the outside food box, feel free to place it in the box or in the cupboard in the narthex of the church. Thank you for the contributions.

Through the summer fellowship will continue to be held in the fellowship room.  Please join us. We are looking for individuals to serve and/or provide food.

On Sunday, August 23rd all students and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks or planners to worship at 9 a.m. We will bless you and your backpacks/planners. Come one, come all and receive His blessing for the coming year!

The first day of Sunday School will be Sunday, September 13th! Sunday School is open to children in preschool through 6th grade. There is no cost for children to attend! More information to follow.

9 years ago, our community sent 3 semi-trucks of supplies to help neighbors rebuild after the massive Starbuck Fire. Today, the Jeff Krier family is facing unimaginable loss again after suffering 2 more devastating fires.
We are coming together to send "The Iowa Care Package" to help them rebuild.

• Our Goal: Raise $15,000 by September 1, 2026 to purchase 2 cows, fencing materials, and feed.
• How to Donate: Make checks payable to First Lutheran Church with "Iowa Care Package" in the memo line. 100% of all donations go directly to the relief effort.

Our August mission of the month for our noisy can offering is the Good Neighbor Home. We will be collecting for them on August 9th and August 12th. Please consider giving to this worthy cause.
